Direct answer for automotive memory evidence
Automotive memory sourcing starts with the exact application and location. A memory device used in infotainment, telematics, ADAS, body control, gateway, instrument cluster, powertrain support or service data storage can face different temperature, write, retention, boot, safety, security, traceability and change-control expectations. The RFQ must therefore state where and how the memory is used before a candidate can be screened.
AEC-Q100 and related official documents provide an important qualification framework for integrated circuits, and AEC-Q100-005 is relevant when nonvolatile memory program/erase endurance, data retention and operational-life claims are being reviewed. Those documents do not replace exact manufacturer qualification summaries, exact device datasheets, package/reliability records, product status, PCN/EOL notices or buyer-specific evidence requirements. AEC evidence should be cited with revision, applicability and exact orderable code.
This page prepares the evidence package. It does not declare qualification for a candidate, substitute for OEM or Tier rules, or turn a vehicle-related use case into an automotive-grade claim. The output should be an RFQ and validation plan that names the exact part, mission profile, required documents, samples, production evidence requests where applicable, approval owners and change triggers.
